EndoExperts Bucharest – Endourological Stone Treatment Workshop

Clinical Hospital “Prof. Dr. Th. Burghele” Bucharest, in collaboration with the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, and under the auspices of the European Association of Urology (EAU), will host the international workshop “EndoExperts Bucharest- Endourological Stone Treatment Workshop” on 1 April 2026.

This event is part of a broader educational initiative that also includes the introductory course “Endoscopic Stone Treatment – Step 1”, scheduled for 30 March 2026. The course is designed to develop fundamental skills in endoscopic stone surgery and combines concise theoretical lectures on indications, instrumentation, and the principles of ureteroscopy and lithotripsy with hands-on demonstrations performed by experienced endourologists.

Participants will have the opportunity to become familiar with modern equipment used in the treatment of urinary stone disease, including rigid and flexible ureteroscopes, laser fibers, and stone extraction devices. The practical component represents the central element of the course, allowing attendees to practice essential techniques on dedicated training models under expert supervision.

The international workshop on 1 April 2026 “EndoExperts Bucharest- Endourological Stone Treatment Workshop” will bring together renowned specialists in endourology and stone surgery, providing an academic platform for the exchange of expertise and for presenting the latest advances in minimally invasive stone management.

The workshop program includes:

• live surgical procedures (RIRS and PCNL)
• state-of-the-art lectures delivered by international experts
• interactive expert discussions and clinical debates
• analysis of the latest technologies and therapeutic strategies in modern stone management

A central component of the workshop will be the live surgery sessions, featuring real-time endourological procedures performed by international experts in urinary stone disease management. These sessions will include modern techniques such as flexible ureteroscopy (RIRS) and percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), allowing participants to observe operative strategies, instrumentation, and intraoperative decision-making in complex stone cases.

The event will be broadcast live via streaming, enabling broader participation from the medical community interested in endourology and stone disease.

The workshop will take place in the “Acad. Prof. Dr. Hortolomei” Amphitheatre, 3rd floor, at Clinical Hospital “Prof. Dr. Th. Burghele”, Bucharest, with on-site participation available within the limits of the available seating capacity.
